MA Healthcare in association with British Journal of Hospital Medicine
wants to wish you a happy autism awareness week!
Dear Colleagues,
To celebrate throughout this week, various landmark buildings have been lit up blue, there were night time walks through London and Manchester and fundraising opportunities up and down the UK.
You may have seen that autism has been featuring regularly in the media recently. Articles have included “the relief and grief of an autism diagnosis” and TV programmes such as “Employable me” and “The A Word” (BBC). However, you may also be aware of a recent article with a different tone, which outlined thatautistic adults were dying approximately 16 years early. Clearly the health, education and employment sectors still have a way to come yet. That’s why as well as participating in various awareness raising campaigns, MA Healthcare will be donating 10% of your full registration fee to our Autism Today: annual meeting 2016 to the National Autism Society for this week only. To book, please call the conferences team on 0207 501 6762 or emailconferences@mahealthcare.com and quote the code WAAW16. Yours faithfully, Jessica Eden-Smith Conference Producer |
